Influenza Reporting
During influenza season, it is important that students prevent the spread of influenza to patients and one another. CDC guidelines require healthcare workers, including medical students, to stay at home when experiencing flu-like symptoms. The following system has been established to make it easy for students to report their illnesses and absences.
Information regarding your absence will be sent to the Pritzker Dean's office and to the appropriate clerkship director(s) and administrator(s) where applicable. This information will be used to track the number of students who are ill and so we can begin to discuss academic accommodations.
